After having the console vault installed for only 2 months, it has paid off. Last weekend my Ford F-150 was broken into. The thieves attempted to break into the vault, using what I assume was a pry bar and hammer, as the vault was badly bent up, however, they were not able to open it. The vault contained my GPS unit, Ipod, sunglasses, and my kids PSP. When I entered my truck and saw the damage, I was sure they were able to open it, but I was wrong. The only problem, is that it was so damaged, that the latch won�t turn, and now I can�t get into it either. I guess the car dealer is going to have to figure it out. I am a member of a Ford truck forum and after writing about the break-in and posting pictures, a number of people said they are going to go to your site and buy a vault.
